Christ is an Intercessor, because he took the place of each one prayed for. We are never called to intercede for sin - that has been done once and for all; but we are often called to intercede for sinners and their needs, and the Holy Spirit can never "bind the strong man" through us on a higher level than that in which he has first had victory in us."
