All about Prayer - M for Meditation (Part 126)
We have never made a better prayer than when, after having made it, we do not know how it was made, since that is a sure sign that our soul was so attached to God as not to have had enough attention left to reflect upon itself.

All about Prayer - C for Communion (Part 50)
"Here lies the ground of the great efficacy of prayer, which when it is the prayer of the heart, the prayer of faith, has a kindling and creating power, and forms and transforms the soul into everything that is desires reach after; it has the key to the Kingdom of Heaven and unlocks all its treasures, it opens, extends and moves that in us which has its being and motion in and with the divine nature, and so brings us into real union and communion with God."
By William Law
I agree with William that prayer has to be from the heart and with a faith enough to move a mountain or sea. My next post will be C for confession. Looking forward to it.

All about Prayer - C for Comfort (Part 40)
"Prayer is the soul's sincere desire,
Uttered or unexpressed,
The motion of a hidden fire
That trembles in the breast.
Prayer is the burden of a sigh,
The falling of a tear,
The upward glancing of an eye
When none but God is near."
By James Montgomery
There is a song that says pray in the morning, pray in the noon time and pray in the evening, pray without cease..

All about Prayer - A for Answers (Part 3)
Prayer, rightly understood, prepares the soul for action, sustains her on life's road when weary and worn, and arms her for the fight when the foe assails her.
By Joseph Mercier.
Who would that foe be, you may ask? For example, today, i asked in my prayer that the Lord guide me in my work and help me to be careful and cautious. A simple but i think something that i need during my work, my GOD guiding me and helping me along the way..
