I have this problem of saying a prayer when i face a large congregation. Stumbling is the word to be used here. But, i try to write down the thoughts and then pray over it.

I like John's thoughts on prayers, its GOD whom we are asking our help from, he knows it even before we petition it to him in a form of a prayer, he even knows how many strand of hair you have on your head. How marvelous is that?
